Terms & Conditions



The following expressions shall have the following meanings:

1.1 ‘Supplier’ means Burlington Games Group which for brevity will be referred to as BGG.

1.2 ‘Client’ means any 3rd party, individual, partnership, company or other organisation or entity which negotiates with the supplier.

1.3 ‘Terms and Conditions’ means the following terms detailing BGG's terms of service.

1. Supply

BGG agrees to supply equipment or services to the Client as detailed in the booking form.

2. The Booking Form

You are requested to sign and return the booking form which will provide written confirmation of your verbal or written order made with BGG. Failure to sign and return the contract of hire is not sufficient to cancel the agreement entered into.

3. Alterations

Any alterations to the agreement must be agreed by both parties and initialled on the contract of hire accordingly.

4. Cancellation

We hope you will not need to cancel your event. However if circumstances present themselves to make cancellation necessary then the following terms apply: Cancellation or postponement of the contract must be received in writing and is subject to the following cancellation charges or deposit forfeiture:
a. If booking is cancelled this will result in a loss of 50% of the quoted costs.
b. If cancelled within 21 days of the event 100% of quoted costs will be payable.

5. Access and Safety

BGG are not responsible for any damage or accidents caused by any misconduct by the hirer or any lack of care or attention on the part of the hirer. The equipment must not be moved from the agreed venue without prior consent from BGG. Access to and into the venue is the responsibility of the client and any equipment unable to be installed as a result of inadequate access will be charged in full, unless a representative of BGG has visited the venue to approve access prior. It is the client's responsibility to inform BGG of any steps, stairs, narrow access, enforceable parking restrictions or anything that may impair the access for the delivery or removal of the items ordered. BGG reserves the right to refuse to supply items if the access would lead to damage to said items or pose an exceptional risk to the health and safety of the staff installing or collecting equipment.

6. Damage

The client hiring the equipment, whether they be the recipient of the equipment or the person responsible for engaging BGG, shall take full liability for any willful damage caused to, or theft of, the equipment whilst hired to them. BGG reserves the right to charge the client for damage to the equipment due to severe negligence or vandalism. Charge will be made to repair or replace equipment, dependent on damage.

7. Extended Hire

Extensions to the agreed period and times of hire will be subject to extra charges.

8. Public Liability

BGG confirms that all equipment supplied is well maintained and covered by Public Liability Insurance. Public liability cover shall be deemed invalid if the equipment is tampered with in any way by persons other than BGG or its representatives or if used inappropriately after advised BGG or its representatives. Public liability insurance will be invalid if a representative of BGG is not present at the event when the equipment is used, unless the aforementioned circumstance had been previously agreed with BGG prior to the installation at the agreed venue.

9. Payment Terms

Payment Terms for all customers is "Payment to be received on issue of invoice and/or prior to the event". Different terms may occasionally be agreed upon and will be annotated on the contract and/or invoice.
